Can we really be certain of an accurate assessment of the situation?

This is a situation where as a driver? Sometimes you have to, “cut your losses“ you make a wrong turn you’re going the wrong way and you freak out and you drive deeper into the thick. Best case scenario to stop at the nearest safe spot, you can put your flashers on and figure out a way out of it. And absolute way out of it that you can look at on the map and see it. Because if you try and guess you’re gonna end up in this situation, just like this guy. Now you’ve got to back out and make tight turns while backing out and probably even blind side And you’re gonna block traffic and everything else. To the rookies out there. If you get in this situation, stop the truck literally in the nearest spot that you can and figure out where you’re going and where the truck can go if you just keep driving, you’re gonna end up in a bigger mess. Stay calm! Freaking out will guaranteed make it worse

Either way, if you just ignore it and don't look at it the problem goes away.
It is not a fact until observed as a fact. Until then it is only a probability.

    Good advice.
Another thing to do is call the cops. They can help guide you out of a bad situation.

I have been there, and the local police have always been understanding with these things.

There was one time when I was stuck making a tight right turn with a no truck sign on that road (and the same with going straight or turning left) or having to make a u-turn across 3 lanes in heavy traffic, so I sat there to think about it. A local cop pulled up in front of me at a 45 degree angle, blocking me from moving.
Let me guess, he said, you missed a turn back there? Yup. My GPS said to turn here and the receiver and my company did not give proper directions.
He didn't want to block and back up traffic for a u-turn so he said to take the right turn and go down to a certain road and take a right, and that would get me back on the right track. He said to be careful because that road had a couple sharp curves that are not easy for a long truck.
I was suspicious because he was telling me to take a route marked no trucks and I thought he would pop me, but I followed his directions.

Nothing bad happened and his directions were good. Good cops do exist out there.

Well, only if you can accept that it can be both accurate and inaccurate at the same time...

    Still undecided Thanks this.
