Not sure if I’m posting this in the right section, but my thermoking Tripac evolution won’t come out of standby mode. It was running fine as of 3 weeks ago, but just tried to fire it up the first time earlier this week and nothing. The heat light just blinks and then goes back to standby. A/c light doesn’t even blink, just does nothing,
I don’t think it’s an engine issue as the engine doesn’t even try to fire up, almost as though it’s not even getting the signal. The inverter is working fine. I put a load on it ( hairdryer ) trying to see if it would cause it to kick on and nothing.
Truck batteries are fine and only a year old and there were no fuses blown or anything. Here’s a video of what it does.

Check fuses.

Do you have a bunk heater? Does it come on?
My apu has a power switch inside the exterior cabinet. Did yours get switched off? -
Pretty sure fuses were good but I’ll double check. Yeah it has an espar heater. No it’s not coming on. Neither would the a/c or fan. Power inside apu cabinet is on.

Check the small wire going to the starter, they break off sometimes.Theres a big wire going to the starter and a small wire, bolted onto the same lug.I think the small wire senses the voltage.

If you have a laptop, look for the USB cord coming out of the apu panel under the bunk.Plug it in and a little program will come up.It will show you everything about the apu, clear codes if it has any.
I had a cabin temp sensor failure,Thermo King shop in Houston replaced it.Siinman Thanks this. -
Yep. It's the sense voltage wire. It tells the system what voltage the alternator is putting out. There's a 2 or 3 amp fuse on that wire. If it's bad the APU will typically start then shut down and throw a code. The alternator test doesn't happen until after the unit starts.

Thanks guys, I’ll check all these things out.
