Well, if not that, when they found out you had a manual transmission, they would’ve rejected you for that. Sorry automatics only:rolleyes:

Unloaded the rear most stacks of lumber to get some weight off of the rear of the trailer, then the tractor was at enough of an angle to the trailer that I hooked two of my 3/8” chains to the ends of the big crossmember under the fifth wheel plate, and used the telehandler to pull the rig backwards enough to get the the trailer up out of the holes.

Coincidentally Burnt Amber is the same name as a girl that drunkenly stumbled into a bonfire outside of town. Also built like a Peterbilt

Nah. They can't use a paper log to get guaranteed tracking of a truck in real time. Tracking apps like Macropoint can be tricked with GPS spoofing or I can just say sorry my phone was off or lost signal.

This ELD tracking #### is the reason I completely gave up on hauling load board returns a couple years ago. Brokers won't even talk to me because I won't let Highway track my trucks into our direct customers.

They are also using it as a way to verify that the company booking the load actually has trucks and that they are reasonable close to the load pickup.

With brokers I have a history with I had to upload my cab card and Title. It’s a hassle, that’s what I get for being a load board gypsy I guess. Even new brokers haven’t had an issue with being exempt, it’s just an absolute hassle, especially if it’s a hot load paying good.

I’ve done that in the past, but this time I wasn’t even given an option.
No ELD=no load, was their policy.

Yep have gotten the same thing, I have an eld but am not going through the hassle of being tracked everywhere I go, I just laugh at em and tell em to have fun with the flip floppers
