It is ussually hooked to the secondary filter inlet by the primer pump, if you plan to run it all the time you need either the over priced Cat Dampner or a needle valve to control the pulsations ( i prefer the needle valve )
-
You can take a pipe cleaner, fold it in half and put it in the fuel line behind the gauge. The gauge won't pulse and cost only a few cents.

Ok thanks also does the Teltek guages come ready to install or do i have to get the dampner
-
I have had the Teltek gage for about 6 months.(c15) After 2 of the over priced cat gages
It comes with the damper.
Just tell them what your going to use it on when you order.
Nice folks -
Ok Rag do your guages go haywire when you talk on the cb because i heard some say they get unstable readings
-
Nope
But it did take a while to get used to the digital desplay and what the correct reference point was for my truck was (84-87 psi) -
Ok thanks alot
