Fuel pressure guage

    Where is the right place to install a fuel pressure guage and a fuel filter guage on a 3406c

    It is ussually hooked to the secondary filter inlet by the primer pump, if you plan to run it all the time you need either the over priced Cat Dampner or a needle valve to control the pulsations ( i prefer the needle valve )

    You can take a pipe cleaner, fold it in half and put it in the fuel line behind the gauge. The gauge won't pulse and cost only a few cents.

    Ok thanks also does the Teltek guages come ready to install or do i have to get the dampner

    I have had the Teltek gage for about 6 months.(c15) After 2 of the over priced cat gages
    It comes with the damper.:biggrin_255:

    Ok Rag do your guages go haywire when you talk on the cb because i heard some say they get unstable readings

    Nope
    But it did take a while to get used to the digital desplay and what the correct reference point was for my truck was (84-87 psi)
