They want me to take I-49, I-29, NE-2, I-80, I-84 which is the route I wanted to take anyway.

Yep you’ll be switched out on the way most likely.

I got a call from dispatch today and they are going to have me swap with another driver somewhere on the way for a load going to Oklahoma City with a Monday delivery. Not sure where we're meeting yet but they said the other driver was in Idaho at the time so I'm guessing we might meet somewhere in Wyoming.

bryan21384, Lonesome and hotrod1653 Thank this.

Met with the driver at the TA in Rawlins last night and swapped loads and then shut down at the rest area about 15 miles East (I hate staying at TA's lol)

I don't want to be too specific in order to protect the privacy of our customers but it's a food distributor right off I-35

Okay if it’s the one I’m thinking, I’ve been there a few times. IF it’s that one, they used to have overnight parking. Not sure if they do anymore though. Northeast side if I’m remembering right.

editing to add I believe it’s one the main food distribution places on the northeast side of town. If it is, you used to be able check in a few hours early, and if they could they would get you. Last time there in 2021 it took me just over an hour to get in and out.

Ah it's no problem. It's an 8am delivery so I don't mind staying at a truck stop. I won't have to get up too early to make the delivery.

    Vic Firth Thanks this.

Heading out today after home time and it was nice to get a couple extra days. I asked for 5 days and actually ended up getting 7 due to being home early. It seems that Holland keeps the original end time of your home time by default regardless of getting home early. I'm not complaining.

I'll be picking up in Van Buren, AR going to Harrisburg, PA. 126 empty miles 1210 loaded. Looks like Holland only pays empty miles to leave home but not to get there.
