Leave it on, especially if you get a lot of calls. Other wise you have to turn it on all the time when you get or make a call. The stand by hrs of these things is amazing.

As for the pairing issue.... Some times mine acts flaky but if it keeps doing it you might check into it being the phone or sending the unit back. These places are pretty good about warranty long as you pay the shipping.
Once you get used to it, you'll hate to part with it for warranty.

I take mine with me every where. Car, pickup, sitting at my desk etc.

    Kansas Thanks this.

10-4 on the leaving it on thing.

About 3 times by now it has simply refused to connect to the headset when I answer or make a call (from standby mode), and thats in the course of about 10 days. I have to turn the headset back off, and then on again, and then it will eventually reconnect itself. It absolutely refuses to let me switch from the phone to headset if I am already in a call, and vice versa.

I did figure out that once I turn the thing on. Just set it down for at least 30 seconds while it reconnects to the phone. Otherwise I screw it all up by pushing buttons lol. Just like an elevator, pushing the button more than once aint gonna help it get there any quicker :biggrin_2559:

Sounds like it could be your phone or the headset.

I'd contact the manufacture and see if you can get it replaced.

One thing they don't stress enough is that the Blue Parrots come from the factory with the 12v charger plugged into the headset. The way this was explained to me is that you MUST do the first charge for 12 to 16 hrs on that charger. If you unplug it and then plug it back in or the other 110v charger to give it that first charge there is a memory of some kind created in the battery that shortens its useful life.
If you find down the road that the battery life just isn't what it used to be you can purchase just the battery from BP for some thing like $9.99 plus shipping.
Its not difficult to change as long as you've got a small screw driver and good lighting to see what you are doing.

My Blue Eagle pairs nice with my Blackberry Storm and my Cobra Blue tooth CB. I just leave it on and choose from my phone. About 150 hours of standby. Charge it a little more than once a week.

    WOW!!!

I charge mine nearly every day because of the 6 hr talk time battery life.

Now that I'm out of the truck I do not BS to the same extent that I did then.
Back then I gave verizon a run for their money on the unlimited mobile to mobile.

Can the Blue Eagle or Blue Parrott be charged while in use? Looks like the only difference is battery time, that is huge does anyone have any opinions on the functionality comparison?

Iam not familiar with the Blue Eagle, but you can charge the Blue Parrott B250-XT while its plugged in through your cigarette lighter plug. You can purchase these quality bluetooth headsets as well as many other bluetooth headsets through our website here.
