Question, why are you still doing Flatbed if it’s dirty and nasty? You like doing it or is it the money?

    Rideandrepair and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

This! Another quicker, simpler way I've done it is a washrag and a spray bottle with half water half rubbing alcohol. Gives you that cool dry feeling everywhere, lol. Ever since Covid I've kept a spray bottle of alcohol/water right by my driver's seat.

I use it every time I get in the truck, every time I've touched door handles or been at a shipper, truck stop or wherever to disinfect my hands when I can't wash them proper and always after I eat.

Its better than any other form of trucking.. less bs mostly and i enjoy the challenge of it. Unloading at jobsites tends to be a more wholesome experience than sitting backed into a dock for hours upon hours

Cool, well, one of the reason I left Flatbed is because of that, dirty and nasty lol, I'm someone who sweats for the littlest effort I put in so you could imagine seeing me after doing a load. The other reason was because it’s too challenging for me, I'm scrawny as hell so I didn't want my arm to snap off like a twig and that's with Cypress, the easiest Flatbed company out of all of them LMFAO!!!

I’ve found paper towels and rubbing alcohol do a surprisingly good job for me when I can’t get to a truck stop shower. It’s particularly effective in the smelly areas, kills the bacteria that causes funk.

Regardless of the wagon you pull, change this.
