I’m sure you’re right. The internet job searching I guess definitely has it’s advantages but also the downside that goes with everything. I personally never really looked for a job that way .But it probably is the way a lot of drivers do.And don’t like to use the term back in the day.But I guess I will.It always seemed helpful to talk to drivers working at a company to get a good feel drivers used to do by accident a lot when they actually ate together at the counter in a truck stop when we actually talk about the companies we drove for,now we seem to busy racing a ELD and just grabbing a Big Mac and eating while we drive.And play with our phones on our rest break

I found my last few jobs VIA the internet. One sucked, two were decent. I guess it's hit and miss anymore. Plus many times attitude can make or break a job.

You cannot be "forced" to drive for anyone or by anyone. If you are owed money, the company is not paying you and you continue to work for them, that's on you. Guys should not expect the government to grow them a pair.

What’s funny about some of them is they had no idea TTR existed to sign up to do research about trucking jobs, but they #### sure sign up when they get screwed from a company that if they would’ve just done a little research could’ve saved them some time and money

You are giving them too much credit.
I think a lot of the "one post wonders" are job hopping to all these companies and creating a new accounts here each time they step in it. I can't believe they don't already know. If they have heard of the internet, they have heard of TTR.

Advertising and contracting in a dangerous industry were these logical people your saying were too bad off , were compressed by the 1099 company's and there's no confidence in Agency's , FMCSA, or state wage claims for example of how UNFOR.ITABKE these 1099 company's really are.
