Oh it was my truck pulling it. I got the ####ty end of a deal letting my local guy load something on a borrowed trailer from a friend who assured me it would handle the load. It made the trip but it was a slow trip.
Shop says backorder on parts & having to sit while warranty work?

I told him that like 800 posts ago since I figured he would have steel inners. Probably because we have kind of similar pictures?Feedman, Oxbow, Sons Hero and 1 other person Thank this.
-
Ok cause it looks just like mine (Kalyn Mini deck). Even looks like the flag holder is bent like mine
Feedman, Albertaflatbed, Oxbow and 2 others Thank this. -
It was indeed a Kalyn mini deck.Feedman, Albertaflatbed, Oxbow and 1 other person Thank this.

this is my theory, but before I give my theory I do want to give a disclaimer. I hope I’m not speaking out a turn amongst you veteran heavy haulers what do I know? I’m just a newbie, a rookie scum of the Earth.
I think I screwed up by doing 90° backs with this trailer fully loaded since it’s on the passenger side it would be the first tire to do the skidding when I jack knife my truck to back into a spot even if this is not the case, I will probably no longer do 90° backs when I’m loaded -
The rim with the rust is the one that I just put on. It was the spare that I bought for $50Banker Thanks this.

Thank you for this that sounds completely logical and makes sense. Now I know how to phrase my question to XL specialized when I asked them about 79,000 pounds in 15 feet spacing but the tracks are only 10 feet. Would that work? I want to see what their engineers have to say

the tire issues. Are not related to backing upFeedman, AFC, Albertaflatbed and 7 others Thank this.

no worries he will contact the engineers to prove you all wrong. And when they tell him the exact same thing, they will be wrong too...
Also @AFC u shouldve learned in flatbed 101 that 90degree backing is to be avoided at all costs. I can count on one hand how many times ive done it in 9 years and they were probably all when i was empty and i havent even made it out of basic open deck work... I mean its pretty basic stuff u learn in the first week. Although with a tandem its not a huge deal . But with as much weight as you have id imagine it doesnt do much but tear #### up.. it even tears #### up with a basic closed tandem at 80k gross.. let alone with ur 4 axle or whatever u gotGatordude, gentleroger, AFC and 5 others Thank this.
