not really, the economy and finances played a big role in wait'in. i explored the lease operator side w/ the company i was driving for, but i would have had too take money out of my pocket to haul their freight. so i kept where i was at and doing my best for them till i felt the timing was right to do it my way and on my terms without someone telling me i have to take this or that load.
as for the money, yeah it's a sizable chunk of mula to get started, not to mention going without a income till some checks start coming in and financing the fuel. -
