I’d drop and hit 15 to Spanish Fork and do the two lane route cause there used to be the most awesome taco truck in Cuba but that’s just me

No Antimonian's route is different than the light blue route. The light blue route stays up on 90. Antimonian's route drops down to 80. I think they match up some after the light blue line drops south though.

I think I'm looking for major highways more than im looking for beautiful scenery (unfortunately). I have a Penske rental and if it has mechanical trouble, I don't want to be too far away from the Penske mechanics. But maybe on the way back from Austin (less time sensitive) I'll prob enjoy the scenic route. I like Antimonian's route I think.

Old advice given to me a while back. If you want to save miles, cut through the woods. If you want to save time, stay on the big road.

80 route is very easy, low-risk.

The only difference is that route connects to 80 off 84 in brigham city ut as opposed to going south on i15 thru slc and picking up us 6 in spanish fork out to 70 and 191 .. you will avoid slc but have to go thru denver/colo spring instead which is 10x worse... You can also just stay on 70 if u want to avoid nm. But id imagine its gonna add a bunch of miles.. also adds unneeded mountains and denver traffic. There really is no reason to worry, its a heavily traveled route with big speed limits all the way... My old company had a route from dallas/ft worth to spanish fork ut and did this route all the #### time. We also did alot from plymouth ut to dallas and back. Its easy running man

Why? Just take the loop around Denver.

It ain't cheap, 93% of 80 drivers suck,
Denver sucks, you're not missing any traffic at all by taking 80, just moving it down the line, weather is unpredictable on 80.

Personally, I'd take the scenic route to Klammath Falls, run over to Denio, find my way to come out west to east into Cedar City, drop down, and over the mountain to Kanab, into NM, th.....

Well, nevermind, no way in hell I'm headed to Austin

OP, look at the weather forecast first, before anything else.

I'm not one to call myself a truck driver, just a guy who drives a truck.

There's quite a few roads I'm scared of, but most of em start with an I-.
