Mine does if Im not delivering near the house. Usually I deliver in the Atlanta area or cartersville then I dont get paid to go home. If I deliver in AL or Nashville or Knoxville then I do get paid to dh home.

Wow guess I don't know any better since I never worked for a company that did, good to know.

As much as Swift sucks, when I worked there they would often pay me for 200 empty miles to go home and then a lot of times pay me another 200 empty miles to go back to the same place since most of the customers were in that area. My previous employer and probably a lot of others would pay me from the last delivery before my home time to the next pickup after home time. Sometimes it would work out great if home was in between the delivery and pickup, but it really sucked when the delivery was roughly in the same area as the pickup and I was making the trip for free both ways.

They paid my miles going home a few times. I’d drop off in St Louis, then pickup in Sikeston and take my off time in between, or do it in reverse. It paid to live close to a Ben and Jerry’s plant.

Just got empty in Harrisburg. Got a preplan yesterday before I got here. Picking up in Hatfield, PA and then making 4 different deliveries in Tacoma WA, Kent WA, Wilsonville OR, and Woodburn OR. 110 empty miles 3047 loaded.

How many days did they give you to deliver including the pickup day? Are you taking I80, 90 or 94? That's a real nice load.

I'm picking up today the 6th and the first delivery in Tacoma is the 12th 5am. I'm taking I-94
