COVID money helped people hang on a lot longer than they would’ve been able to other wise.

    ElmerFudpucker and HoundDog7 Thank this.

It didn’t? Then why was 2019 called a bloodbath? They must’ve been wrong I guess. The difference this time is that people are still operating today that should’ve been thinned out a year or two ago but they got Covid cash from the government. There is still freight to haul now, unlike back in 2008. This industry is due for a major correction.

    HoundDog7 and ElmerFudpucker Thank this.

It’s cool! Yeah, I will admit that the economy hasn’t picked up as fast as I had hoped. And things are still high. Just not covid era prices

Don’t worry, Venezuelan oil will give it a boost, every time there is a fresh war economy seems to pick up after. plus a good amount of Ukrainians are going to loose class A in the next 2 month along with Mexicans being deported, we will have some high paying jobs in Tejas and California during harvest season.

Nobody is playing victim games here. The Catastrophic State of Trucking and Highway Safety. The "biker gang" that got killed were USMC veterans read the article then come back in here making excuses for illegal immigrants killing citizens.

Yes buddy…. A drunk veteran who lost control of his motorcycle and caused a crash….. we all know that veterans and law enforcement love to abuse their badges… however wrong in Africa is also wrong in America…..

But a judge dismissed eight impairment charges and his attorneys said the lead biker was drunk and not looking where he was going when he lost control of his motorcycle and slid in front of Zhukovskyy’s truck.
I remember that case very well because I was furious that a white dude from Ukraine is driving under fentanyl and heroin… turns out it was a manipulation, since veteran was involved.

Lol that ain't nothing. I'm talking hauling off a goat trail someone just pushed through the bush with a D6 a week prior.

Oil patch iron out here is in 10x better condition than most highway spec junk I see pulling boxes down the highway.
