Sigh. The I 80 bridge across the muddy, or is that mighty, Mississippi is now completely closed. Need to get to I 88 and am trying to decide whether to take 280 around or since I'm at the hook, to go 61 N and 30 E and hit 88 there at Sterling. Seems like I've been on 30 before and its not a bad rte.

i have a magnum s-6 good grounds inverter in sleeper, this is the only truck ive had this problem with but its also the only truck that i havnt had my own coax in. looks like i get to rewire when i get home, thanks for the info.

No problem. If I can help any just gimme a shout. The problem with the big radios having the big ears is they also pick up alot of other frequency noise and any other electrical device. Which Magnum S-6 do you have? They are a good 10 meter radio. I've never had a problem with Magnum. Are you running barefoot or into a box?

 

s-680 with the green lights, running totally barefoot at 70 watts. if my truck ever gets out of the shop im going to redo the coax and see if that helps any.
