I leased onto mag carriers and ran spot mkt dryvan in 2019-20 back when getting a load back to Houston was like $1.80mi if you were lucky.

So I quit and took shelter in Tanker/Haz. Fast forward to our new Admin who has shed light on just how saturated trucking has been with cheap illegal labor bloated with fraud. Two friends thought the covid rates were so good they added extra trucks and reefers only to go bankrupt after the hype.

This time feels different?? or at least for the next 3yrs.

Maybe when the more relevant issue, the reduced consumer spending, gets rectified, then rates increase.

    Lol, what feels different?

Just bought a turbo speed sensor $250 one hundred more than the last time I got one.

Picking up a water pump tomorrow morning $517 Have to do it myself in a truck stop parking lot because two dealerships want me to leave the truck with them for two days minimum. Myself I can do it in 3 hours doing it slow and methodically. One hour with a couple Red Bulls :)

Now costing me a $100 more to fill my tanks than it was yesterday..$200 more than 6 months ago.

Still seeing Bozo’s grab loads out of Washington for $1.50 lol, even less.

Seriously, put the Pom poms away.

Yeah Craig Fuller (Freightwaves) is so bullish on this market he is posting daily on Twitter calling for the next U.S. industrial revolution 2.0...ha

I wish it wasn't political.. but with the Duffy crack down and possible passage of the Dililah law - Midwest industrial resurgence- (left coast went woke=broke/crap rates) Oil prices crashing (after Iran)..its looking promising boys.

You are arguing with the "experts". Self appointed, but nonetheless.

Going up another $0.19 after midnight..NASTC network.

Going to feel a lot different when I fuel up tomorrow…

Can’t wait to stand in line at the DMV to get my CDL recertification.. hopefully my Boston accent doesn’t cause me any problems when I’m forced to take the English language exam, lol.
