    • I love a nice Peterbilt COE & that one does look better than nice. Wish I had a picture of Dad's '75. That one looks like mid '70's judging by the door handles.
    • Looks like I'm about unretired. Seein how all you guys are killing it on the rates these days I figger I need to join the party. PXL_20260304_202129576.jpg

I believe the cabover is a 78 but not totally sure if that’s right. He said the only factory parts left were the frame rails and the body. All the suspension has been changed. It hasn’t model Cat and 18 speed tranny.

I had one stuck between the trailer duals also.

    I can commiserate.
A shorter 5/16 chain dropped through between the tires and hooked to 2 crossmembers on the trailer can remove most rocks in one turn of the tires.
Learned that on mine sites where 4inch minus was standard road fill for 200ton rock truck roads.
I had a 12footer I carried in an oil jug with a hole cut in it setting in the v between my fuel tank and frame (punch a drain hole in the jug for rain).

Same for when I used to haul to the concrete dump yard after breaking out a job. Could always count on something getting stuck in the wheel's teeth. Kept a small sledge for a toothpick handy. :)
