Well this went about like i figured it would.

Ill clarify a few things even though its prob pointless to the super truckers lol
This was in a lot across the road from a pilot .

Lots of spots, 5-6 trucks wide that were unoccupied. I was in the corner off to the side all by myself. I knew trucks would back in beside me at some point as its a parking lot .

The whole point of my post was about manners at the truck stop. And some of you understood and the selfish ones exposed themselves.

Im not new to the industry either. Been doing this #### since the 90s and was taught by the old hands to be respectful and courteous to fellow drivers. I pulled reefer for alot of years and would never back between two flatbeds unless there was no other spots available
Thats the kind of guy I am.

Life is hard enough out here we shouldn't be going out of our way to make it worse for others or ourselves. I can be a prick but generally chose not too.

The TMC trainer does have the "right" to use the lot . Im not disputing that part.
What im bring to light is that there were a couple other choices available....
Yet he failed to grasp the concept and just chose to be a prick . Talked #### and acted like he wanted some hands. Told him he better think that through and he got in the truck and moved.
    Couldn't tell him nuffin'

Again why are you upset about their choice...the same could be said about you...choose a different parking spot .....the prick is not the TMC in this situation....

It's always the selfish one wanting the world to cater to them calling others selfish

Parking spaces in a truck stop are for a truck driver to park and partake of the truck stop services. They are not made for truck driving practice. Truck stops would have to take out a whole another insurance policy if that was the case.

Your right it is about respect. Respect others rest, respect others equipment, respect the purpose of the truck stop's property and it's intended use. On all counts, TMC is in the wrong here.

The entitlement here belongs to TMC. This TMC trainer feels using this truck stop as his training center. Again not this truck stops purpose.

This TMC trainer feels he is entitled to use this guys truck as a training obstacle.

Do you think if he asked the truck stop to do his truck training they would say. 'go right ahead?'

Do you want to volunteer your equipment, your load, your livelyhood to be his parking lot training obstacle?

Pretty easy to see who is entitled.

It is the truck stops property. They provided that property for a reason that benefits their business model. That model does not include it to be a training center. They are not insured to be a training center.

They provided that area to entice truck drivers to take their rest and in turn partake of the services they have to offer. Driver's start disrespecting that use, expect it disappear.

So back into that spot and use it like intended, fine. Just like the scale. Just like the gas pump. In America we respect other's property.

There you go admitting a big part of the problem: There were other spots but they felt entitled to use this guys truck as a training obstacle.

There need to 'train' was much more important then this guys need to rest.

They were entitled to the truck stops property for any use desired.

I dare you to go up to any truck stop manager and ask them if you can use their facility for training.

You know the answer you will get.

The truck stop is not your playground.
