With the 401k news, I forgot to post that they sent over my preplan for next Tuesday pickup. Load of shingles from Portland OR going back to Omaha

We do indeed. Nebraska changed a law in October of last year. Now we accumulate x amount of hours per pay period. I’m on vacation right now, and was unaware until I requested it. Everything worked out, and payroll can answer any questions.

Just got parked at where I'm taking my 34 and started writing down my next load's information. It's a tarped load of shingles. The most pointless of all commodities to tarp.

 

I’ve had stuff like that before and the customer when I got to the receiver was asking every truck that came in there. Why the heck is this stuff tarped? it’s not rolled roofing is it?

 

They require tarps for anything going over the mountains going east during the winter. They’ve been like that since back in 04 when I started pulled a flatbed.
