What's everones opinions on fenders for 379's ? I obviously need a new drivers fender because deer won't leave my truck alone, what I really want is aluminum polished like the 379x but see a lot of fiberglass options out there. Fiberglass with a big drop lip are out of question for me. Are fiberglass stronger than the aluminum ones? I've heard from others that they don't taco when a deer looks at em wrong like the aluminum ones. A herd bumper is also out of it for me.

My black truck has fiberglass they look exactly like the Pete aluminum fenders. I had really good luck with them. They are for sure more forgiving than aluminum as far as springing back. No liner needed etc. I won’t however tell you a deer won’t scatter one. I will only say outta a bunch I hit I only bought I fender

Ok that is what I heard from other people, I also run a boxed bumper now because everyone says they survive hits better, although it did get a little tweak in it from the 3 raccoons I hit one night.

A box bumper definitely helps. It’s hard to find a pic of mine that you can’t see a little tweak in a bumper cause I’ll hit a #### Kansas white tail every time I get a new bumper. I have gotten extremely good at straightening them

Lol yeah running north Dakota and Western MN at night like I did I hit my fair share of critters. I got 4 deer in about a 3 month span after going 3 years without getting one
