It is so sad that many companies are getting away with out right stealing, telling lies, to employees.

The only way to get these things to stop and force companies to except full responsibility for their actions is for ALL drivers that have had problems especially with not being paid what is due to them, is to file charges through the attorney generals office of where the company is located. In this case Tulsa, Oklahoma

I feel for you and your wife. I wished you had come online and typed in the company name before you left home.

Tell everyone about this site that you know so that they can figure out whether or not it is for their well being to hire on to one of these companies.

You didn't say if you and your wife found another company, or how you managed to
    get back home.

Maybe if you call employment office in Tulsa and ask them how you can file something to recoop some of your money. This is one big bad company one of the worse ones that I know of.

Stay safe on the road always. Beware of the other drivers/four wheelers especially.

Maybe some of the people who have had problems with this company might want to get together and file a lawsuit together. Something to think about.

I query your dislike of May Trucking (if it's the one based in Salem, OR). I worked for them and had zero problems. At least, none that couldn't be resolved by telling the dispatcher "no".

I drive for Link America now. I have been with them for two years. I have never had a problem with breakdown. I will say that the payroll dept are a bunch of idiots. Miles are good here. Daytime dispatch is great. Jason is the best. Nighttime and weekend dispatch is a joke.

Link America in Lakeland Fl. is the WORST trucking company my husband has ever worked for, they treat him so bad. He is left sitting more than he is driving and they WILL NOT answer the phone. My husband has been Driving for 26 years no tickets , violation or dui he is not some fly by night want to be trucker, he one of the old school drivers that show people respect. An dis not getting any back.We are going thru some hard trials right now, as is most every trucker and their family and this company is the worst of worst in trucking companies with how they treat their drivers. I have never seen him stressed out so much and I am very worried about him. My prayer is that the Lord will open some other door so he can get away from Link America. :biggrin_25513::biggrin_25513: Making a living is not the same as making a life.

Well, all of you drivers who went thru what looks to be a horrible experience with this company take some comfort knowing that I was recently called by a recruiter to go to their "refresher" (5 day) orientation in Tulsa then a two day in Lakeland,Fla .I told them today I would need to talk about it then I would give them my decision this week . . .I don't want to work for a company who disrespect good people like this . . .I know from almost twenty years of putting up with the games that I ain't 'a gonna do it any more . . .so,my answer is a firm H311 NO!

Possibly the worst trucking company, and I fell real strong that Link America will be the next "Arrow Trucking Company" they treat the drivers like dirt, guys at shop would not even qualify to change oil at Wal-Mart, dispatch is a big joke, terminal managers have no clue on what to do, recruiters well theyre recruiters, equipment is wore out, trailers should have been put out of svc years ago, payroll will screw you more ways than one then turn you over and put it back in you, You can get miles if you are willing to run illegal, cause if you get caught they dont care, thats your fine, not theirs,I am still owed for over 600 miles, and a rental car(which they approved and yes I turned in receipts) I worked there for 2 months and took all I could, LINK AMERICA IS A POS company, so if you choose to work there, then its your fault, but you will regret it. personally I hope they do go under, I just hate it for the dumb ##### drivers that are working ther when it happens.
