Perma tex makes a glue that you can put on them to hold them in place, ive done the RTV thing before also, I did use super glue once also to hold the gasket, I personally don't like using straight RTV unless I'm in a pinch.

Yup first North American special forces insignia, though the British SAS predates the Devils Brigade by about 3 years. Not sure if they had any patches or insignia at the time though.Feedman, BennysPennys, Dale thompson and 3 others Thank this.

This falls in the believe or not. When I was employed at CF they sent a NFG from Portland to Roseburg bobtail. Dispatch said get as many trailers that you can and bring them back. Soooo guy rolled into the Portland yard with a Quad train. Yeah he made it up 5 all 178 miles with 4 wagons. I would of given him a raise. CF fired on the spot. True story.Feedman, JolliRoger, BennysPennys and 12 others Thank this.

Towards the end of my first year at a mega, co-driver & myself had our truck in the shop for the day. Got a call from dispatch wanting to know if we would be interested in shuttling trailers to the rail yard a few miles away. We said sure, why not.
Informed us that company had sold a lot of trailers previously & now faced a time deadline that evening to get them there or face some sort of fine or big loss. Get as many there as possible by deadline time & we would get I think $50 or $75 per. Gave each of us a new trucks that were not assigned yet & said have at it.
We had a bit of a racing competition that day & had a blast. Remember the time it took at first to learn the computerized check in, drop spot assignment, then exit procedure. But, we got it down pretty quick.
There was no way possible to get them all there, but we came close.
Can't remember how many we moved, but we certainly cleaned clock & made serious big bank that day. Even though it cost the company a heck of a lot of $, it was far less than they stood to lose.
Good times, good times.....Carpenter Scotty, Feedman, exhausted379 and 12 others Thank this.
