This is what we used at the shop I worked at. Worked really well especially with the puzzle piece CAT oil pan gaskets.

I have an SK socket set, I’ve had it for probably about 15 years, got the ratchet exchanged twice, cause I stripped the gears out of it, great set! I split a couple of sockets, but IMO, that’s gonna happen no matter what brand you have. I have a set of Milwaukee wrenches that I use a lot , I really like them. my jumbo wrenches are all master force. Have a set of cobalt that I utterly despise. It was a Christmas gift a number of years ago, but the wrenches have enough of flex on the open end, but if you’re really romping on a bolt, they spread just enough to leave itslip and roundthe corners off. And when that happens, as often as not, I destroy my knuckles. also have several gear wrench sets, I probably use them the most. Dad had some Matco, and some snap on, and a lot of craftsman. I like how thin the snap on wrenches are, never cared for craftsman tools. Also have some of the Long icon wrenches, they’re pretty handy, depending what you’re working on.Carpenter Scotty, Dave_in_AZ, Feedman and 9 others Thank this.

The craftsman has been getting phase out of my tool box due to being unable to trade them in easily anymore, snap on dude lives next town over so that is mostly the direction I'm going, and local auto parts carrying SK makes things easier to trade that stuff in but SK ain't much cheaper, maybe it's because all those companies sell a tool ONCE and replace it forever.Carpenter Scotty, Dave_in_AZ, Feedman and 7 others Thank this.

I appreciate the warm welcome pal.
@tramm01 came off to me in a way that made me feel like I was about to be scalped by an Indian.....but then I read more of his words and learned. He beats up on idiots and likely doesn't eat hollandaise sauce. I now realize hes a faithful follower of John Wayne and I understand him and with full respect.
I believe it was Lord Chick Norris that shared his philosophies about men like Tramm...he said quote:
"For John Wayne so loved America, that whosoever that believeith in him shall not perish as a sissy with large tassels on thar handlebar grips, but shall have everlasting manliness."Friend, Carpenter Scotty, ElmerFudpucker and 11 others Thank this. -
Its hard to beat a Snap-on wrench. That thin box end has saved me many times.Friend, Carpenter Scotty, ElmerFudpucker and 7 others Thank this.
