Neat; odd cut and erratic grain meld beautifully, when finish is on, perfect...

    From my understanding,
Hollandaise sauce is a food delicacy for some, but other uses include it as an industrial lubricant. There was a member well known that used to haul windmill blades coated with Hollandaise sauce. @High Stepper actually used to have a dedicated west coast run hauling Hollandaise sauce out, and then brought back red diamond sweet tea.

I remember reading In one unfortunate incident, it was used for much more than that. Screenshot_20260310_110710_Chrome.jpg

Shellac; a little dab at spots to position, or coat one metal, fit and only one piece to align...

    Missed out on jury duty.
Apparently I was supposed to be there last Friday, not today.
    The Hazul has been fired.

Still time to visit the bank for an home equity line; so when the warrant boys arrive, you can argue from a position of strength....
Most bail bonds used to be only 10% cash/RE to cover.

Here in MS; back in the KLAN days, when a man totally clean might get accosted by LE for discussion of his where abouts a certain day/nite.
We all wore overalls and kept our tax receipts in the snap down bib. Get queried; bond figures bandied about' just pull out and say: Well, Ya think this valuation might cover it. (It was not so much the value, as we had to be there the next day to do the farm work.)

One of my first jobs was running team hauling pharmaceuticals with X1 heavy. We ran a Peterbilt 351 with a butterfly hood and a transplanted 8v71. X1 always had a grip trainer in his hand squeezing it, I thought it was odd but didn't think much about it.

One day we are heading up Wolf Creek Pass loaded at 90k. I'm in the sleeper and X1 yells at me to get up. Apparently Southern Shaker was coming up to pass and he didn't want to let him. I get out of the sleeper and the truck loses power.

X1 says take the wheel and kicks out the windshield. The truck is slowing down and Shaker is gaining quick. X1 climbs out on the hood with a breaker bar and tells me to stall the motor. His plan is right before it starts running backwards, he will attach the breaker bar and keep barring it over to keep our speed up.

He tells me to toss him a flint striker out of his welding bag, and says I'm going to show you why I use those hand grip trainers. In one hand he is barring the motor, the other has the striker squeezing non stop ssparking the air into the intake and we are picking up speed going uphill.

Needless to say. Shaker didn't pass us. When we got to the truck stop, he wa so dehydrated that he put a 5 gallon red diamond IV in his arm. Those were the good old days of trucking.
