Does anyone know anything about Airgas Nitrogen transporter out of Odessa,TX? Says you have to be out for 21 days with 7 days off. But they’re 7 paid days off apparently. Would you have to move to the area I’m guessing? Something to get my foot into the cryogenic door.

Thats the Rest and Roll, Call and demand, whatever else its called in other places. Not sure if youre just taking care of customers in the Permian Basin in West Texas to the Eagle Ford Shale. I'm not comfortable posting a recruiters info, so I give you a ling directly to Airgases career page. Click "Next, Then click on Texas and scroll down to the position and Their Phone number and Email will be right there, and they can answer any question about that facility. https://intelliapp.driverapponline.com/c/airgas?uri_b=ia_airgas_1361837795

I have to admit that I like their Career page better than ours at Linde. Most of the time, the wages isnt listed and the majority of the time, nothing about the shift and days worked.

Dont know exactly what it is since I dont work for Airgas but my guess is that you'll be doing oilfield/refinery purge jobs or something along those lines.

Not sure if its a must that you have to be a local driver.

Email or call the recruiter. His info is on the job posting on Indeed.

Just heard back from the recruiter. You have to live within 90 minutes of the site

OP will probably be supplying nitrogen to locations where they have a nitrogen pump rigged up, most likely to purge pipelines, and perhaps supplying nitrogen for drilling operations that use nitrogen instead of water-based mud until they get below the water table. It's possible they might use nitrogen for downhole work as well.

Also, the refinery in Big Spring is down (or at least partially down) right now so they may be using nitrogen to purge some of their process units.

IF YOU HAVE YOUR OWN TRUCK, I WOULD STRONGLY ADVICE YOU NOT TO LEASE ON WITH GENOX.
