I’m glad the whole time I was driving for Cliff he never cared about Oregon miles. He always said if we were going to Oregon it was part of the rate. Thankful we didn’t have to slog across 14 at 100k+.

Per miles tax? They tax us for driving in Oregon!! That's crazy!

    Hammer166 and Oxbow Thank this.

If they're scrary to you guys then I would die in them LOL!! I don't know if you knew but my first year was with Cypress Truck Lines from Jacksonville Fl, I was a Southeast Regional for 6 months, then move to "their version" of "OTR" after that. So I never went to the Westcoast until I got with Bynum which was March or April last year, so all of these are new to me.

34 is doable and make on time delivery. Looks like I-84 take exit 1, turn left on NE 12th and it is down on the right a couple of blocks. Now, where the drop is in their yard, call and ask.

There is no road to be scared of. I was born and raised in arizona. Never saw outside the west coast until i started driving. And now ive run in every condition imaginable and worked the rocky mountains for a couple years exclusively. Its like anything else. The more you do it the better u get. being scared doesnt help u increase your skills

I never went west of the Mississippi until I was driving trucks. First time I ever saw I70 through Colorado was solo in a fulled loaded dryvan.

Now I do everything I can to take I70 any time I go to southern CA. By far the most scenic interstate in the country between Denver and I15. Always stop in Glenwood canyon at the rest area down next to the Colorado River and just go sit by the river for a bit enjoying nature.

Jubitz is a decent place. They even have an actual laundromat. Certainly better than trying to find a spot in Troutdale.

If you've never done it, hike up Grizzly Creek at the East end of the rest area. After a few minutes you don't even hear the highway anymore.
