Probably wasn’t this one? The phone number on the sign was wrong. It was parked just off the freeway but was only for sale for a week. It was a non runner with dead batteries and a dry fuel filter. Was supposedly never for sale on line… $3k for the semi, but had to buy a Chevy 8.1 cab n chassis with a service bed in the deal for an additional $1.5k.

My buddy said we didn’t pull it “outa the weeds” but it has “ weeds growing on it”… lol

It pulled a low boy for a construction company and the old man died and these were the last two pieces of equipment left… I didn’t promise that I wouldn’t scrap it but they liked the idea of it having an opportunity to live another useful life.

Yes, it has a 2 line pump on it. The hoses are junk and I don’t know if it actually works but we’re going to do a complete operational check once the title gets transferred. Scored some 1 year old batteries from a wrecked truck last night for $25 each… so at least I can start it and move it around the yard without trouble for now.

The Chevy is next to bring home this weekend. If it actually drives ok it might be worth a couple bucks to someone?

If it runs that b model is worth more than you paid for the truck. That would make a hell of a end dump truck, my first truck was an international with the baby cat in it and a 9 speed, thing rocked for belly dump work, was super light, slow as hell but made good money off that truck.

The plan is to use it for short end dump work and maybe a little hopper? The wife is getting her cdl. She’s going to work for a buddy driving his tandem dump truck this summer and maybe a little hopper this fall. She’s hoping by this time next year we can have it cleaned up and ready for her to run under our numbers?

Yeah that would be a really good fit for an end dump work truck, been thinking about picking something like that up for that line if work, the b model makes that thing a steal

Finally got the rear hubs changed. Had four nasty old aluminums around and threw them on the outsides…. New used brake pads and drums on the rear axles too. IMG_6751.jpeg IMG_6766.jpeg
