Won't they found somehow?

Just pull the fuse for the horn. Put it back in before you go to a terminal.
wulfman75, mitrucker and nextgentrucker Thank this. -
Oh ok lol.
-
Much simpler. Why didn’t I think of that? Lolnextgentrucker Thanks this.

Yep company truck = drive it like you stole it. If the noise gets too bad just turn up the radio.thatsright, Numb and nextgentrucker Thank this.
-
But I'm sure Mr. DOT man won't appreciate that right?
-
Don't worry about the horn.
Let the truck idle at the proper rpm and start and stop on its own. That's the point of the system. If you keep doing what your doing it's going to derate and then your screwed. You should be taking care of a new company truck even it's it's not yours.Oxbow, nextgentrucker and Long FLD Thank this. -

Disconnect the horn, they are usually on top of the firewall behind the engine, your company can also go into the BIOS in the computer and change that option and make it stop. If someone has a horn honking every time the truck wanted to start right next to me when I am sleeping I am going to get pissed. I am usually pretty much live and let live type of guy but that would get me going
Speedy356 and nextgentrucker Thank this.
