Looks like I’m not missing much. Still may run my Truck again. Like to sell it, just not yet. The bug doesn’t go away easily. Meanwhile tomorrow another decent pay check hits the bank. Even running hard, I’m working half as much. Taking advantage of all the lightweights that constantly take days off, or quit without notice.

 

Not too many people are stupid enough to drive a truck for under a dollar per mile and be treated like crap .

 

Had two light easy loads booked that I just canceled. FL to PA and back home. Decent rates but nothing to brag about.. I suffered through the last time fuel was up around $5.50 and not going to do it again.

Besides, I got plenty of yard work to do and the pool water temperature is 90..beer is 37 just need some popcorn

 

Who’s paying Drivers $1.00 pm? Real pay’s gone down 30% in 30 years. 1% per year average. Drivers should be making $1.00 pm. .80 would be fair right now, IMO. Based on an OTR average 2500 miles per week Good place to start, along with annual cola raises.
