Welp, I was right with my wiring. Its all factory. Just a junk switch. The connector (24 on the diagram) where its pinned into the housing was loose and not making a connection.

Worst part of the whole deal was getting ripped off by the Pete dealer. $60 because "all he had in stock was the Paccar switch"...and maybe someone can correct or verify this, but google the part # 16-66057. To me, it looks like that is sold as a 2 pack of switches for the $, right? Of course the ahole parts guy today handed me the bag with 1 switch in it and I need to know before I go back and set the building on fire :D

Looks like only 1 switch when I look it up.

BTW that is a standard DPST toggle switch if you don't want to pay the Peterbilt markup for putting it in a bag with their logo on it.

We do have an account with them, but I swear our discount has gone down the toilet in the last 6mo or so.

Oh and the only reason I got the switch at Peterbilt is because they were 3mi from my drop off ans Fleetpride next door didnt have any. I've done a couple back and forth short loads from our Laredo terminal to Victoria. Not much in the way of parts places on this stretch of Hwy 59 lol.

You can buy them in a 2 pack, from like Mytee products for half the price, but I wouldn't be sure of quality since they offer an 18 month warranty or 100k miles, but the other listings for single switches had the switch at half that price for one, one at about that price, and one over that price...again, not sure of quality. You're probably paying for dealer markup on this, I'm afraid...or they're the dummies that bought it at a higher price and have to charge to break even :) Nahh..they're gouging you. :)

I had intermittent marker light due to loose spade terminal on back of switch in a KW, dab of solder and it's still kicking years later

How’s that window washer nozzle workin’ for ya ?? At least when doing crane mats there’s usually some pretty good money attached.

Why does the switch from fleetpride with the same part # only cost $22 before any discount with our fleet account and the dealer price was $72? Both show hecho en Mexico.

My biggest issue is the guy handed me a paccar package marked as a 2 pack with the pack ripped open and only 1 switch inside.

cke, beastr123, CAXPT and 3 others Thank this.
