Rates are crashing and fuel to the moon!

I'm all for changing Iran , but if the strategy this operation is based on, is people without guns rising up, well that's usually doesn't work. This and the tariffs are the 2 mis steps the administration didn't need to make. I expected by now the economy would be booming after the Biden mess. Mid terms aren't looking good. And staff, I'm not picking sides all that much

 

China and the rest of the Far East will eventually have something more to say about all this if it drags on too long. Iran can also pipe it out I believe, but that probably ain’t covering the demand long term. China has a reserve I hear but they’ll get pissy when that runs out. They have real leverage over the United States don’t forget in terms of their bond holdings. So does Japan and SK for that matter but they are friendly vassal states of the west where China and NK are not. Russia is sitting quite happy at the moment with how good of a price their oil is now fetching, so they’re loving every minute of this for that reason. Plus they’re testing out their latest tech and weapons systems in the Iran theatre so they’re enjoying that aspect too.

 

some people never leave junior high school and figure that out. I’ll do ya one worse though if we’re throwing black pills around: if voting actually mattered they wouldn’t let you do it. We’re long past voting our way out of this fix we’re in. Just my opinion of course.

the rates will go up, because they *have* to, but there’s always a lag on the front end before the rest of the world gets with the program and realizes they’re going to have pay more for goods to show up where they need to show up.

 

As a retired taxpayer I am happy to see this because we all know it will make our taxes go down! LMFAO

If I was still purchasing nearly 500 gallons of diesel every week I wouldn’t be so confident the oil companies weren’t paying similar fees under the table to keep their prices artificially propped up. But surely our leaders wouldn’t lie to us, or would they?

 

Do you understand how the oil compaines love and hate both sides. It is a win win for them if both sides lose every other term.
Democrats hate the oil companies but make them richer because of the hate. Oil prices are always high so they do not reinvest in drilling. They just do bare min. drilling to satisfy the leases. So they just pocket the money and buy land during that time.

When Republicans get in office they love them because they will make it easy to get permits and allow them to drill hard core. Unfortunately for them it makes oil drop because more supply comes on line so then they lose profits on oil production. Just one big circle jerk cause by both sides. If we would just ride out the same policy with republicans we would have cheap fuel for a very long time.

 

I don’t claim to have the answers to any problem, but try to keep fairly educated on certain business topics. I am all for the free market but realize the markets are manipulated from a wide variety of interests. Not much I can do about it, but I am still free “at this time” to comment about it.

Actually it came down 3 cents today at Kwik Trip I noticed. Still like 5 bucks almost though. Hopefully uncle Donny is almost done winning and declares it’s time to come home

for the record- i dont line item fuel surcharges. I just increase the rate. And then that’s what the rate is. And I’ll increase it again some other time. If you charge a fuel surcharge, then it varies, or it goes away when the fuel prices go down to whatever degree they’ve decreased/
