I started out in the early 80’s running coast to coast and border to border in an old spring ride 9670 binder. Running team. Fun times, 55 mph with a tach o graph. The old hands will remember those.

Just in case anyone was wondering, The Boys are very skilled at concealing rubber chew toys in pasture grass and when you strike one those rubber chew toys with the mighty JD X330 it causes a sudden violent disassembly of the mulching fence and that results in the loss of 132.85 fun tickets— I made them go with me to settle up

Any of you guys ever seen a chute that had one of those spring-loaded stop arms on it? Like when you get close it pushes a plunger against the truck and a stop arm swings out so you know you're getting close to hitting it. I want to build something like that but I can't quite picture in my mind how to build it and make it work without actually seeing one

I’ve never needed that I’ve always had an ability to hit one. That said I know lots I mean lots of people that do. I’ve seen cables as well as bevel gears. I know a couple guys I can call to get pics. One that is giving the finger as the arm comes up. Let’s see what I can come up with
