Dropped the slugs back in the 455 Pontiac this evening….

 

From what I read his injuries from the wreck were to blame for his death. He was messed up pretty bad. Met him few times over the years, was a good guy. Somewhere I have a pic of him and I and my buddy Jim all 3 together at a ATHS show….

 

Columbia Mo this morning. Wind is horrible.

 

That truck was iconic. Probably one of the most recognizable rigs ever on the road.

 

Had an ex SIL who had a Chevy suburban thingy with 4 wheel drive. Painted blue and had heavy bumper with winches front and back. Had switched out the brakes to disc by some trade he had made, had lifted it and tractor tires. Solid truck and quite nice then.

His brother brought a dupe from a title loan default to get its diesel engine, and it was painted red... It had power windows and locks.

So he gets the doors off the brother's red one and installs on his blue. Instant update as wiring was there, plug it up.

Your pic of the inside of the door there reminded me. Quite an attraction with the red 4 doors.

Yesterday it was nice as hell….

 

I didn't buy it. But someone gave $50k for it.
