Who do you guys use for full coverage for your trailer? I have full coverage for my truck through Mercer where I’m leased on at. But my trailer is my own. Progressive won’t do full liability insurance on a trailer unless I fully insure the truck through them too. But I’m not doing that, because I barely pay $300 a month at Mercer for insurance.
It’s a 2005 TRANSCRAFT Step Deck 48” valued at $16,000
thanks!

@blairandgretchen might be able to help, he has his trailer’s insurance only with a company
AppalachianDruid and Ok big boy Thank this. -
I sold my truck and still had my Benson worth about $15K. I was not able to find anyone that would write it up.

Can try Great West or Northland. I’ve used both for trailer insurance in the past but also had my truck insured there.
AppalachianDruid, Diesel Dave and Ok big boy Thank this. -
That is odd that Mercer doesn’t have an option to insure your trailer through the same insurance company they use for all other insurance. The carrier I was leased to for many years had this option. It was much easier to get all my insurance covered from one source. The carrier paid the bill and deducted it from my settlements with no up charge. The premium was based on what I set the value at but I didn’t over value it because the insurance company only paid out market value in the event of a loss.
Ok big boy Thanks this. -
I was actually mistaken y’all. They do insure the trailer, I just read their email wrong
thanks all for the help though!Ok big boy Thanks this.
