Are the injectors and lines under the valve cover? Did you use new injection lines? With high pressure common rail fuel systems those lines are almost always single use due to the possiblity of high pressure leaks and the risk of fuel injection into the body if you are unlucky enough to be near.

You don't really have much run time on that engine yet do you? I would think it would take a lot of raw fuel in a running engine to get past the rings to dillute the oil severely, especially if you shut it down quick. I'm wondering if you had an injection line fail under the valve cover. Would dump fuel straight into the pan and prevent the pump from building enough pressure to restart the engine.

I did change the fuel supply tubes with brand new ones because i was worried about that as well. They come in from the side of the head and seal up into the side of the injector at the red circle as far as i understand. The silver circles in the second pic is the feed tubes PXL_20260318_233747789~2.jpg PXL_20260131_231929744.jpg

Supposed to be 72 degrees here Saturday. We’d best get at it before it goes away.

Yes, they are not like houses. They will either have a clear title or they will have no title. And that will be stated in the description. Houses are different they can actually be sold with title liens. So you need to do a title search before you buy a house at auction.

I didn’t know that a house could be sold with a Lien on it. I guess I assumed that once sold, it would be the responsibility of the seller to clean all that up.

Nope! Not here anyhow. It’s the responsibility of the buyer. Same with back taxes. So you have to be real careful and do your due diligence

There's a place that makes sheds not far from us. In fact our pasture completely surrounds them. County just put in a burn ban a couple days ago. They thought it was a good idea to burn their scrap pile this morning.
