Its a 1980. I can fabricate mounting brackets and what not if I have to. It'd probably be easier to use a motor for each side like the original air wipers so I wouldn't need to try and run a linkage across under the dash.

Figured I'd try it out. Only had 4 I could put in so far. Still waiting for some warmer weather for the sandblasting. -
Looks really good.

Sick most of the weekend but did manage to burn a dozen or so rods and finished welding everything I tacked up a couple weeks ago.
Hopefully in a week it will be ready for sandblasting and the next stage (the fun one). -
Well its looking like its time to call the sandblaster. Guess I didn't do too bad, measured an X corner to corner and it looks like the cab is square to just under 1/8".

Paint on the cab frame is just drying now. Guess I gotta go order up a 5' x 10' sheet of aluminum next week and work on making a new cab skin.
OldeSkool, Feedman, Isafarmboy and 4 others Thank this. -
Wild to think I have made more progress on the truck in the last 3 months than the entire 5 years prior.
Floors on these suckers are 5/8" marine grade plywood, right? Guess I need to make a trip to the lumberyard too.OldeSkool, Feedman, Isafarmboy and 2 others Thank this. -
