    Good school.. very good instructors .. They take the time with everyone..to help them learn.. once you have the basics they stand back and only help if you are needing it.. they say everyone will find the way that works for them...and if they keep helping you.. you dont learn it...

    Let me know when you start.. they have a 5 week class and a 10 week "16 week" plus they have weekend classes... we always got about 2hrs seat time a day..on road days..and yard days are a blast... :)

    please do! lol..do the werner thread. i've read good and bad. just like you, i need somewhere to start and werner is on the list. experienced maestros are just laughing their ##### off looking at this sign of desperation. but i do remember vividly how i had to start in sales working for the company, which was notorious for treating salesmen like poop (luckily i was naive and had no clue). many ppl lasted days to weeks. i was so blessed to run into a manager who taught me everything and was decent. we call each other up until now, 7 years later. right now i work for a pos company, but my team is great and the manager i deal with is decent. all that matters for a time being.
    you must be the perfectionist type, who is hesitant to believe in his own skills while everyone around knows u r good. i have no doubt whatsoever u'll pass the test and get on your training. NOW! i would really like to know what happens next)

    First road day.. I had went about a 1/4 mile ..the instructor looked over and said "cheater LOL" I said HUH!!.. he said you have done this before!.. I'm like yea.. a long time ago..He just smiled and set back in the seat..and said turn right at the next light..lol.. The driving part came back real fast.. But still makes one nervous.. to have a 3 mil miler instructor watching every move.. and remembering to double clutch..both hands on the wheel...lol.. the yard was a lil more of a challenge .. backing took me a day or 2..But it came back with time..

    I agree.. we have to start somewhere.. and Werner is going to give me the chance..I will just make the best of it.. do what has to be done..the best I can.. pay might not be the best..but not the worst.. I have talked to many companies.. and they are all about the same for starter companies.. So I will start my Werner thread... may 30th.. I start May 31.. I will tell it like it is.. the good and the bad..

    I have finished TDDS school.. I ended up with a 97.2 gpa.. all done except for my state test.. I will start a new thread about my job with Werner.. as long as I make it through orientation :) This has been a fun thread..and a long 10 weeks...lol.. Hope it helps others who are looking at TDDS for a school..

    I passed my Ohio state test.. Got my CDL again...And ready to get back in a truck..
