I want to buy gravel truck with tridem pup . Please suggest me good options like which engine and house many engine hours and milage is good to get gravel truck because some truck I have seen has more than million kms already.
One truck I saw is :-
2007 Peterbilt 378
Cat c15 Acert
18 speed
20,800 hrs
620,101 km
Brandon box with high lift
Transmission and clutch replaced at
510,000 km
Exhaust manifold gaskets just replaced couple weeks ago.
Recent CVIP
Lots of other work done to it over the last few years. Including drive line inspection and repairs. All brakes and drums replaced within the last few years. Suspension components and steering pieces as well in the last few years.

Well, while I love Peterbilts, I've never had any luck with them as a dump trucks. Just aren't as tough as a Mack or KW. Depends what you are going to do with it. Like some kind of road application would work well, CAT motor the best, but for slogging through the muck, I'd get a Mack!

That Cat has 20,000hrs on it, it’s going to need an inframe here shortly. That’s going to be a $40k bill. Know that before buying the truck so you don’t get sunk
