All the trucking company schools listed provide transportation, meals, lodging. You can ask about that also when you talk to a recruiter.

1. What are the different trucks that you see and what are they hauling? Going to different sections on this site will add to that.
2. The ones that require the most experience and expertise.
3. Use the search function here to find things about the different types of pay. As a new driver you would be probably be paid in cents per mile.
4. As a new driver you have no options. You take what they offer, because you need the job more than they need you.
5. I have no idea what AAS is with you. If you don't have money you can try to get funding through your state's unemployment options or go to a company training program. The company option is sometimes the best, because if you make it through their training you have a guaranteed job. There will be some conditions in that relationship, such as working for them for a certain period of time before you won't owe them any money for that training. It is usually 1 year.
But be careful which company you go with. Some require you to be a team driver or to lease one of their trucks, and both are bad options for a new driver.
Most will require you to pay back the cost of the training during that first year with weekly pay deductions, and I know of one that will pay you back that cost at the same rate during your second year if you stay with them.
