It probably is a legitimate offer as most LTL companies pay extremely well. I drove for Conway many years ago and retired, my son drives for Estes and his best friend drives for OD. These LTL jobs easily pay $100K a year and home daily. These jobs are not for everyone but they are the best for pay and home time.

Oh yea I agree with that 100%. I just meant he may want to see if they are offering a linehaul run where he can turn and burn between terminals, or if he would have to work the dock before he heads back to his home terminal.

 

Right now he's running as an extra p & d driver and waiting for the next bid time. He ran team in Jackson, Ms. to Dallas/Ft. Worth, Tx. to Birmingham, Al. and repeat all week. Like what was previously said they keep the team trucks running with priority and never sit for too long. Estes seems like a good company for anyone.
