id like to avoid dot oos in side road
Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
Where is it at? And can you see it on the other side of that rail?
4noReason Thanks this. -
I would fix it now.
If you wait it could go even farther.
Drill stop the crack. V it out on both sides.
After you get it welded up see if you can add a larger support plate behind the bracket. Not just to cover it but to spread out the load more.
Stop turning so much……lol4noReason, 201 and Albertaflatbed Thank this. -
That's a pretty easy one to take care of now. I'd fix it quick. You will be OOS if inspected
4noReason, 201, Albertaflatbed and 1 other person Thank this. -
Yeah, I'd fix that PRONTO!! Cracked frame is nothing to ignore. I had a cracked frame rail on my Western Star, even crossed a scale, got home, saw the truck was leaning a bit, and sure enough, right behind the sleeper, a bad spot, apparently.. I had the frame "sleeved" with a smaller channel and welded, but cracked in the same place again. It's a good thing you saw that, good work, driver!
