Do you have to go out overnight with a trainer or will they train you on local stores?

Not when you're road testing or training. They want you to practice safe procedures and what you do after training is your call.

No, that's good business. Those drivers are a workmans comp claim waiting to happen.

Drivers who think that won't last here. The standards don't stop after road testing and training is over. They'll coach a 30 year walmart driver for not using 3 points of contact exiting the cab.

    48Packard and navypoppop Thank this.

    rollin coal,
I wasn't intending to imply that a driver should just do his thing after training. My bad choice of wording and I apologize. I was a trainer in my days and I was taught and also taught 3 point contact when you enter or exit the cab. I also drove many years in a COE and you had better be using 3 point or it was a long trip down. I thank you for pointing out my error.

Falling out of your 79 GMC Astro but your arm is firmly on the handle and the weight of your body yanks your shoulder to shreds as you fall because your hand cannot support the rest of your dangling carcass as you lose footing or miss the step bar

As for Wal Mart, I have a friend driving for them in Central Florida. He's been with them about 7 years. He's happy

Home for my regular Thursday/Friday weekend. Busy five days, producing my biggest revenue week yet. My last two checks were within nine cents of each other, funny because of all the different things we get paid for. But no complaints.

The complaints come tomorrow when I finish my taxes.

Just curious if you’re on pace to make six figures?

Counting from when I went solo in early February, yes. At the pace I’m on, and assuming I hit the quarterly bonuses, I should be a good bit north of 100k for 12 months.

That's $110k on a 5-2 / 5-3 schedule so 60 hrs off one weekend then 84 hrs off the next week. If there was a schedule where you might miss it that one would be it but vast majority on a 5-2 / 5-3 hit 6 figures on it. On a regular 5-2 every week schedule you should easily be more than the advertised $110k. It's not cherry picked "top performers" it's everybody here those are pretty average numbers.
