Nahh we shouldn’t. I am saying it’s not the technology that’s the reason it’s not here. It’s so people keep their jobs.

The motive is cheap labor. A one time investment in a robot versus years of investments that include paychecks, pennies, and bonuses to workers in which its no forgone conclusion that they'll stick around for longer than a year. I understand the motive, but I'm certainly not saying I like or agree with it.

Remember, Automation does not pay FICA/Medicare taxes. Less human workers mean less paid into the system and less payout to beneficiaries.

Shocking? I had robots unloading and stacking my load of newsprint 30 YEARS AGO in Franklin Park Il.
Those robots also fetched paper for print room as they read the barcodes and always used oldest stock first.

Trades is where it’s at. It will be a while before Musk can make a robot that can do what I can do. 50-75 years trades is gone as well.
