Do you happen to remember lengths you used off the top of your head? Did you have to cut and thread anything or was it gtg out of home depot? A little dark and can't see but I'm assuming you used elbows?Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Yep, I used elbows and I think it was 6 feet horizontal pipe and they cut and threaded vertical ones.
Or you can create some kind of other support instead of elbows. I remember it was a pain in the butt to put elbows on inside the truck, because of the limited space.Rideandrepair and Folk Fries Thank this. -
The exercise I am describing is usually done using equipment called a Roman Chair. Those are too big to have in a truck, so I offered a cheap alternative for the truck. The exercise is the exact opposite in every way from a sit-up, in which your chest comes closer to your knees. The Roman Chair exercises have you starting somewhere near 90 degrees between your lower body and your upper body and then straightening out, over and over to work your lower back muscles. I'm not a gym guy or weightlifter or familiar with any exercise beyond what kids learn in gym class or P.E. Sitting down all day in a 90 degree bend will cause your back muscles to atrophy, like if you have a broken arm in a cast for 8 weeks. It never moves so the muscles get weak.Rideandrepair and Folk Fries Thank this.
