Shock collar.
You need snakes to train him though. Every time he approaches a snake he gets shocked.
I watched a video years ago down in Texas. They had rattlers with their jaws tapes shut in a closed pen. Every time the dog approached a snake they gave the dog a small shock until he learned to stay away. That's kind of the short version.
You might pull it off with toy rubber snakes out of a dime store.
For the record I'm against shock collars, but if it keeps a dog from a bad snake bite then so be it.
