Took it on Monday and I was drinking Sunday, but not heavily. Split a small bottle of tequila with a friend and this company has been calling begging me to get back with them but one of the recruiters were telling me “it’s a waste of time we have you marked that you can’t, come back.” But this one recruiter keep insisting that I can.
So I go and do a urine test Monday and today he call me saying “hey, we can’t move forward with your application and I can’t tell you why… and you also owe us $7400 for your last truck.”
So now I’m thinking I may have failed a urine test after I decided to take Easter off and drink a little.
How long do I have until my current company find out about this and fire me. I called the MRO and they said the person who I need to speak to is not in today, I feel like everyone is giving me the run around.
Took a urine test

Never heard of anyone failing a urine test from drinking tequila. Did you eat the worm. That might've got ya!
Ddh77777, Speedy356, Diesel Dave and 1 other person Thank this. -
I've never heard of failing a urine test for alcohol use. Since about 90% of "hey I just failed a drug test" stories are later proven to have left out the important detail, then I expect that will happen here. Was it a special tequila, who picked the tequila to drink, did someone with a reason to want you punished ever have access to the bottle or your glass?
Have you ever, even 1 time, used any illegal drug, plant, chemical, etc, even one time long ago in a galaxy far, far away?Ddh77777 Thanks this. -
I would expect your company will know with 24-48 hours of the test results.

Alcohol is not on the urine test.
Pickleball, blairandgretchen, austinmike and 1 other person Thank this. -
When you’re sent for a urine test, when did they change the rules that after a positive test they have to contact you before they contact the company?
Maybe there’s more to the story? -
Why do you owe $7400.00 for the truck?
blairandgretchen Thanks this. -
Don't tell your current company anything. If you do, you'll be fired again.
austinmike Thanks this. -
Well I hope that’s the case, I was drinking Friday Saturday and Sunday. I don’t do anything I’m a square when it comes to that stuff and plus I knew about this job opportunity months ago so i thought I’m good, but I couldn’t piss when I got there so they made me drink water and I’m guessing that might be the reason
