    We just replaced the DEF header unit as that’s why we’ve been told it could be but turns out it’s still doing the same thing so what is happening we have 3 codes showing
    AFT SCR OPERATOR INDUCEMENT 3712
    Engines protection torque 6255
    AFT Scr operator inducement severity. 6254!

    I have the check and stop light on the dash also the orange light for the DEF is flashing! The guy changed the head unit cuz lots of people said that is a problem. But it is still doing same thing so any other advice? If it was wiring wouldn’t it read short circuit etc,,..

    These DEF headers are from a terrible mfger. They don't support their piss-poor product.

    Just for clarity you need to state whether these are Cummins codes or Detroit. If it's a Cummins, than an ESN help define the Cummins fault code and list of T/S to perform. At a minimum, I think you might need a regen to validate new DEF header.
