    So. Hippy chick in San Angelo told me she's been diagnosed with Stage Four (4) compensated cirrhosis of the liver. Apparently that version means it can be managed IF the person lays off the booze completely. If not then it turns into decompensated then you are effed. She started smoking again too. Hoping she can get a grip.

    One of my best friend's died about fourteen(14) years ago. Think he was forty eight(48). Did stuff his way. I have a lot of respect for him for that. The older we get, much less fun to be had as the speed and strength fades.

    His sister was one of the strongest people you'd ever meet, and we were born like five(5) days apart. She went six(6) or seven(7) years ago. Same story. And I mean she was strong.

    Did they choose poorly? Maybe. Maybe not.

    The guy that taught me truck’n (as opposed to drive’n cause I already knew how to do that) went out hard — holding his hand when he drew his last breath he said he did everything he wanted the way he he wanted and didn’t have no regrets— except he never killed a 30” buck but he wasn’t bitter about it cause they’re seldom the first ones you run into— Storm made a pretty big impression on me bless his soul
