Showing my age again of course, but we didn’t have this problem when we checked in over the radio.

Or, like Iowa 80, before it became a tourist stop, pulling up to the fuel island and the fuel jockeys wrote down your info, fueled your truck, checked the oil, did the windows all while you went inside to get a free thermos fill and used the bathroom. The gold old days before technology made our lives so much easier.

That's ok you're not missing much. I was born and raised in that area and left when I was old enough and don't miss a thing about it. Hell I don't even visit family there very often as I let them come visit me in Florida.

Still home. Loving life. Found out earlier that Monday or Tuesday we should be getting the approval from FedEx for the new truck. The truck is ready to go. All decals are on, number assigned, camera installed, ELD installed, pintle hook installed, permits assigned, and chains on the chain carrier attached to the side rail. Meanwhile, my wife and I are going to the Keys for the weekend. Trucking can be put on the back burner for a few days.
