On 70 West over by Salina KS. Total estimate was 16 grand. Boss decided not to have the hood sent off. Just had 2 minor cracks by the grill. Just picked it up today. Cost 10 grand for bumper, grill, screens, charge air cooler, and a/c condenser to be all replaced labor and parts.

 

Seems odd for newer transmissions to have failed like that but I suppose anything mechanical is subject to failures.

 

I upgraded and got me a bigger scooter this week.
It's a 2011 street glide with 23000 miles on it.
Got yard work done and rig ready to go. Probably take off tomorrow and head up to pick up in Van Buren Arkansas on Monday morning. That's going to Live Oak Florida.
