Get in touch with @Tug Toy. He's a whiz at polishing, and I'm sure he can get you going in the right direction.

Rideandrepair and Tug Toy Thank this.

I don’t know about all that but I got some in the shed to choose from… new, used and really used. I’ll even take that one in on trade… heck we can even mount it up for him…

Weather that’s a dura black or what ever it’s junk and won’t match his other supposed polished wheels…

Swing in by and we’ll hook er up!!! IMG_4318.jpeg IMG_4319.jpeg

I wonder how much an aftermarket non Alcoa brand aluminum wheel cost’s nowadays. A few years back around $200 each. Only need 6.

Acid and bead blasting would be the easiest way to get them cleaned up

$392.92, for a 24.5 mounted on my trailer 5 weeks ago. Mau or may not have eaten a screwdriver

Black Friday, less than $200 to my doorstep. Made in USA TRP brand. 22.5 hub pilots only IMG_5199.jpeg IMG_5198.jpeg seen they were on sale again last week for $269.

Yeah, if the aluminum wheel cleaner with acid don't work, just use it as a inside rim or a spare, and get another good used aluminum rim that is in better condition.

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Acid won’t do a thing to that wheel. It’s not a dirty wheel that was mounted on the inside. It has the durablack coating. Like these ones I saw today on a Solar tanker. You can see the uncoated ring in the center.

Durablack wheels are dumb. If you want that dirty unwashed covered in king pin grease and brake dust that hasn’t been washed off in 500,000 miles look, just save your money and do that with the cheap brushed finish wheels.

When they’re clean they look good on the right truck. A red and white unwashed daycab isn’t the right truck. Lol

I can’t believe Solar is getting 8 bag on new t680’s.
